Jule and Brompton

Her Creative Inspiration

"I paint abstract pictures. My main focus is on colors and how they work together. When I'm cycling, what I've seen on those rides inspires me to paint. I've taken many bike tours in different countries and have all these landscapes in my head. I try to connect the physical aspect of cycling with the visual aspect of my surroundings. The results are painted bike frames, graffiti, or large canvases.

Art is a way for me to express myself. It gets even crazier when I leave the streets and ride through different landscapes, forests, fields, and villages. This puts me in a trance-like state of mind. Especially in the evening, after 200 km, my mind is completely empty. I have escaped the world."
